Sonam Kapoor loses to British Accent of Katrina Kaif?
It is all Katrina Kaif at this moment. She is now becoming the top actress in Bollywood. She is a beautiful girl with a British accent and many people thought at first that it may be an obstacle for her to shine in Bollywood because Indian people may not be fan of her accent. Fortunately, for her, it did not happen and she is now very successful.
The interesting thing is that even her British accent has become a strength for a new upcoming movie. Dibakar Banerjee is the director of the movie and at first it was thought Sonam Kapoor will become the leading actress. However, then Dibakar Banerjee felt that the leading actress must have some kind of British accent and Katrina Kaif got despite intense lobbying from Sonam’s father Anil Kapoor.

For Katrina Kaif it is really hard to talk in Hindi in proper way. It is not only accent but also voice is problem for actress. Rani and Bipasha both vocal sound are harsh still they could make the place in Bollywood successfully. Besides accent, another matter is that Katrina does not look like Indian. However, it is her good luck that she has got success. I think it is her accent for that audience liked her acting in ‘Namaste London’. May be the new role will be suitable for Katrina and her British accent would help her again to catch the attention of the audience.
