The year 2010 will open with a big clash between two of the Bollywood heavy weights- Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan. Salman Khan’s epic action movie, Veer, will release on January 22, 2009 and Shah Rukh Khan’s My Name Is Khan will release on February 12, 2009. In Veer, Salman Khan paired up with new comer, Zarine Khan but My Name is Khan will bring together Shahrukh Khan and Kajol one of the most adored onscreen coupls of Bollywood and after eight years of hiatus they were joined by Karan Johar.

Shahrukh and Kajol first paired up in the super hit action thriller, Baazigar in 1993. This was followed by another blockbuster Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge in 1995. Then in 1998, a newbie director named Karan Johar brought them together in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai which became the biggest hit of that year. In 2001, Shahrukh-Kajol-Karan pair up rocked the Bollywood once again with Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gum. No wonder, when the three again united in My Name Is Khan, Fox studio did not miss the opportunity and bought the movie for Rs.1 billion. Let’s see whether the three recreates their magic on the big screen once again.

Today is special day for Bollywood actor Salman Khan because on 27^th December he has turned into 44 years. Fans are excited to know that how Salman Khan will celebrate his birth. Now, he is busy to make his new movie ‘Veer’. His fans are expected that he will take rest from shooting and celebrate the day with his friends and family members what the other actors and actresses normally do. Everything will be arranged privately. I can not see any fault about it because they can spend one day only for their own.

Salman Khan should miss his girl friend Katrina Kaif who is now in London. Katrina Kaif is recovering from a surgery. I still don’t know about his plan. I think we can know about his birthday party later.

During his two weeks promotional tour around India for his upcoming movie 3 Idiots, Bollywood superstar, Aamir Khan, befriended with 24 people and he invited all of them at the premiere of 3 Idiots. The premiere of 3 Idiots took place at Taj Lands End hotel on December 23, 2009. Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra made all the arrangements for these special guests. They stayed in the hotel and cars were booked for their service. Aamir Khan said:

‘Wherever I went, I made friends and I have invited them. All of them will surely come to the premiere,’ said Aamir told reporters at Taj Lands End here.

‘There are 24 people whom I have invited personally. They are those people whom I met in Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Punjab. They are my guests,’

During this tour, a girl recognized him in disguise in Tamil Nadu and tried to convince her parents that I was Aamir Khan but his security people who were in plain clothes tackled the situation. As the parents approached to Aamir Khan to confirm, the security people diverted them. They told the parents that he was Aamir Khan and would speak to them later.

Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan were invited to the premiere but Aamir Khan could not say anything about the matter but Vidhu Vinod Chopra told reporters that he informed the two other Khans and they said that they would attend the premiere.

Top Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is roaming all over in India in a disguise to promote his upcoming movie “3 Idiots”. Recently, he attended in a pre-weeding ceremony in an unknown village named near Faridkot in Punjab. He disguised himself as a foreigner on Saturday. Until Aamir Khan has revealed his identity no one could guess that Aamir Khan himself stayed between them. He also took part in Haldi ceremony. When he removed his teeth and make-up then everyone became surprised. Who could expect that Bollywood hero will join with them. It is really luck to get them closer among general public. However, formal wedding ceremony took place on 20^th December.

“3 Idiots” will be released December 25. Other stars are Kareena Kapoor and Sharman Joshi.

One news I have found from Bollywood hungama is that Indian actress Katrina Kaif will undergo surgery. It makes me curios to know the actual reason. What happened to Katrina Kaif? Why she will go under surgery? I have not found the answers of these two questions. But she was admitted into the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai early this week. After taking admission into the hospital she was not seen any public gathering. She was advised to take full bed rest. Katrina Kaif has given some hit movies this year like New York, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and De Dana Dan. Her boy friend Salman Khan is now busy with promoting with “Veer” movie.

Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie ‘My Name Is Khan’ has got much media publicity. Now, movie lovers are passionately waiting to see this movie. But you have to wait till 2010 if you want to see it in a big screen. The premier of this movie will be shown at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2010. This festival will continue from February 11 to 21.

It should be mentioned that Shah Rukh Khan is the owner of a cricket club in IPL.

Aamir Khan is busy to promote his upcoming movie 3 Idiots. He will be seen to take new method to promote his movie. I think many of you are curious to know his new method. He will roam around in India but he will be disguised when he will roam in the different places in India. Aamir Khan will be seen in a new look in every city and town. But how his fans know him? In his up coming movie, Veer, Salman Khan played the role of a courageous Pindari warrior named Veer. It is a periodic movie and in order to make his character authentic, Salman Khan went great length. He even brought some descendants of the Pindari warriors to prepare for his character. His action director, Tinu Verma, actually sought out these descendants and learned their combat style and he taught Salman Khan. While he was training Salman Khan, he also hired some of the descendants. Daily News Analysis reports:

“A source reveals: “Tinu Verma scouted areas that were once the home of the Pindaris and found a couple of descendants. Tinu, who also put in a lot of research, observed their body language and learnt their tactical warfare strategies. The Pindaris, who taught Tinu, were on board when he in turn coached Salman.””

Salman also confirmed the news and said that as he had played the role of a Pindari warrior it is natural that he meets the members of the clan and learn their body language and their way of fighting and admitted that Tinu had been a great help to prepare him for the role. Veer is Salman Khan’s dream project. He worked for twenty years to prepare the script. It is a periodic movie and tells the story of a clan named Pindari based in central India. The movie will be released on January 22, 2010.
