Imran Khan is one of the busiest actors in Bollywood. In January 2010, he got engaged with his long time girlfriend, Avantika Malik but the engagement took place during Imran Khan’s busy shooting schedule. The next day after his engagement, he flew to New Zealand for shooting. So, Imran Khan has decided to finish all his work and then get married and take a long vacation. He said:

“So, I had a word with Avantika and we spoke to our parents and decided that we won’t marry this year. I will wrap up everything and then concentrate single-mindedly on my wedding. It is a special occasion and I don’t want to think about anything else. I will take a month and a half’s break for my wedding.”

Imran Khan and Avantika Malilk got engaged on January 16, 2010. The ceremony took place at the Malik family farmhouse in Karjat. The couple decided to get married next year after Imran Khan finishes all his work. Some of Imran Khan’s major projects are I Hate Love Stories, Break Ke Baad, Delhi Belly. I Hate Love Stories will be produced by Karan Johar. In this movie, Imran Khan will work with Sonam Kapoor. In Break Ke Baad, he will be paired up with Deepika Padukone. In Delhi Belly Imran Khan will work with his uncle, Aamir Khan.

In I Hate Love Stories, Imran Khan will appear bare chest in some scenes. For this reason, he had to build some muscles. Imran Khan said that he was a bit apprehensive in the beginning. He spent 3-4 months to build his physique. He worked out for six days a week and three hours a day. Imran Khan does not like to go to gym. He did “functional training.” He also controlled his diet and ate steamed fish, brown rice, sweet potatoes and lots of fruits and nuts. He also did weight training.

In an online poll conducted by MSN India, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have been voted the hottest couple of the decade. MSN India invited 38,648 readers to vote for their favorite actors and actresses in different categories as part of their Decade Special for Bollywood.

The other favorite couples are- Abhishek Bachchan-Aishwarya Rai, Bipasha Basu-John Abraham and Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor. Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan do not talk much about their relationship in front of the media. 36% readers responded that Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are greater couple than Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai who received 27% votes. Bipasha Basu and John Abraham received 13% votes and Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan received 6% votes.

Shahrukh Khan was voted the actor of the decade with 29% votes followed by Aamir Khan with 26% votes and Amitabh Bachchan with 16% votes. Katrina Kaif took over the top spot for “Hottest Body of the Decade” with 33% votes. Bipasha Basu received 13% votes. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan received 10% votes and Priyanka Chopra received 9% votes.

Ram Gopal Varma’s Aag was voted “Flop of the Decade” by receiving 48% votes followed by Drona, Love Story 2050 and Tashan.

Emraan Hashmi and Mallika Sherawat’s kissing scene in Murder was voted “Hottest Lip Lock of the Decade” with 39% votes followed by Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Bachchan’s kissing scene in Dhoom 2 with 21% votes. Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s lip lock in Kurbaan received 16% votes and R. Madhavan and Vidya Balan’s kissing scene in Guru received 7% votes.

By this time, all of you have seen the teaser of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s upcoming movie, Raavan, where Abhishek Bachchan jumps off a cliff. In reality, it was a very dangerous stunt scene Abhishek Bachchan did it all by himself. In the beginning, director Mani Ratnam did not want Abhishek Bachchan to jump off the cliff but  Abhishek Bachchan was adamant of making the jump. It was a 90 feet long cliff and there was strong current in the water. It was all too risky for Abhishek Bachchan. Interestingly, there were some local boys who were ready to jump off the cliff in exchange of money. Abhishek told Mani that if those boys could do that so could he. Finally, Mani gave into his demand. However, Abhishek Bachchan was first trained by a diver. During the shot, when Abhishek Bachchan made the jump he told himself: “Oh my God, I’m going to die!”

However, Abhishek Bachchan is not angry with Mani Ratnam. He said that Raavan is the most challenging role in his carrier not because the movie was shot in a harsh jungle environment but it was a very demanding role and it drained all the energy but at the end of the day, Abhishek Bachchan was very happy that he did a good job.

Amitabh Bachchan has been suffering from liver cirrhosis. The disease destroyed 25% of his liver. Normally, this disease is common among alcoholic people but Amitabh Bachchan is not alcoholic. He contracted this disease in 1982 when he was severely injured from an accident while shooting Coolie. Mr. Bachchan broke the news on his official blog. IndiaGlitz reports:

Cirrhosis impairs the liver’s ability to control infections and process nutrients, hormones and drugs. The sensitivity of the disease requires Bachchan to stay under constant vigil and monitoring.

While shooting for a fight sequence, Amitabh Bachchan’s intestines were severely damaged. He remained ill for several weeks. At that time, Amitabh Bachchan’s fans around India prayed for his cure. He also received 60 bottles of blood from 200 volunteers. He underwent blood transfusion and one of the volunteers carried “Australian antigen hepatitis” which caused new problems. After doing various tests it has been assured that the antigen attacked his liver. Unfortunately, the existence of this antigen was not known at that time. Now, sixty seven year old Amitabh Bachchan has to undergo medical test on a regular basis.

Amitabh Bachchan is the living legend of Bollywood cinema. From a simple clerk working in a shipping company, he went on to become one of the biggest movie stars of the Indian cinema. He acted in numerous movies. Amitabh Bachchan’s son, Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are also well established actors in Bollywood cinema.

Indian movie market is highly competitive and this is why big movie makers do not release two movies simultaneously. Moreover, cricket matches also affect their business. For this reason, Sajid Nadiwadwala decided to change the release date of his upcoming movie, Housefull and avoid clash with Rakesh Roshan’s Kites Bollywood movie.

There are numerous example of a movie doing poorly for another movie. In 2006, Salman Khan, Preity Zinta and Akshay Kumar starrer Jaan-E-Mann bombed at the box office. Thanks to Shahrukh Khan’s Don: The Chase Begins Again. Other such examples include- DIL vs GHAYAL and after that GADAR vs LAGAAN. This time Sajid Nadiadwala will not make the same mistake. He said:

“I am pretty sure about not clashing with any film. Being in the industry for so many decades now, I know 90% of the senior makers. I have a good relationship with Rakeshji (Roshan) and when KITES came calling; I didn’t mind changing plans for HOUSEFULL release. No, I don’t have any personal egos.”

Both Kites and Housefull are high profile movies. Kites stars Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori, and Kangana Ranaut. Housefull stars Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta, Jiah Khan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Arjun Rampal. For any big budget movie, the first week is the most important time. In the first week the movie collects lion’s share of its revenue. If the movie becomes popular then it continues doing good business or else it starts lose its position at box office.

So, instead of wasting time sleeping and partying, Katrina Kaif instantly called director, Prakash Jha and told her that she would do some re-dubbing. At first Prakash Jha thought that she was in London and told her to relax and enjoy but she said that her flight had been cancelled. Prakash Jha was very much impressed with her dedication. Though Katrina Kaif finished her dubbing,she is convinced that there is more scope for development and she is going to work on her diction.

It is true that Katrina Kaif initially used Salman Khan to get work but then she went out on her own and made it big in Bollywood. Katrina Kaif is another big example how hard work and dedication changes everything in life. No matter, how talented a person is, it is hard work, devotion and dedication that makes the real difference. Now, the million dollar question is- Would Katrina Kaif be able to taste success with Rajneeti ?

Katrina Kaif is playing the role of a female politician in the movie.
