Today is 5^th February 2010. It is an ordinary day and I can not think of any thing that happened on this day. However, it is a special day for Bollywood fans because their super star Abhishek Bachchan has turned 34 on this day. He was born on 5^th February 1976. A lot of fans around the world wished him “Happy Birthday” and they also prayed for him so that he can get more success in his personal and professional career. You may want to know what your famous actor did on this day. No doubt, it was a special day for Abhishek Bachchan and his friends and family members also. But he was busy with shooting his new Game Show ‘Bingo’ which is shown on Colors TV.

However, Abhishek Bachchan realized two things on his 34^th birthday. One important thing is that he needs to do more film against her wife Aishwarya Rai so that they can spend sometimes together. Another important reason that he believes is that audience like their onscreen pair.

Famous Kannada director Prakash’s latest movie, Gokula, released in theaters on November 27, 2009 and it is definitely one of the top Kannada movies this year.  Gokula tells the story of four orphans. They cheat on people to earn their livelihood but then one day they meet this old couple with whom they fall in love with and instead of cheating on them they end up saving them. The story of Gokula is nothing very extraordinary. The strong point of this movie is its narrative. Because of its extraordinary narrative, the movie, despite having very common themes, would not bore you. It has some great comedy sequences and melodramatic sequences.

Although there are few places where the director could have done better, such as the the climax. Among the actors, Sreenivasa Murthy and Sumithra provided a very good performance. Pooja Gandhi also did very well. The major credit goes to Vijaya Raghavendra and Yash, who were very energetic and lively althrough the movie. The music of Gokula has been composed by Mano Murthy and Satya Hegde took care of the cinematography. Overall, Gokula is a very neat and entertaining movie that you can enjoy with your family. Once again, Prakash has done good job with Gokula.

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan, his wife actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and his mother former actress Jaya Bachchan have recently spent an hour at a temple in Khar in the city of Mumbai on Saturday in order to celebrate Durga Puja festival. They also prayed to goddess Durga during their stay. It was the Maha-ashtami of the nine-day festival. Amitabh Bachchan was also seen during the visit the temple.

Durga Puja is the biggest festival for the Hindu Bengalis and it is celebrated with great sanctity among the Bengali people. Here it is noteworthy that yesteryear Bollywood legend Jaya Bachchan is a Bengali.

Karan Johar’s recent birthday party seems to have been a platform of reuniting Bollywood foes. First, there was report that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor danced together at the birthday party of director-producer Karan Johar, forgetting their long-standing enmity and two Bollywood divas have now become friends!

Well, the latest reunion is between Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The two presented Bollywood fans with 2002 mega hit Devdas together, but turned into foes when Shah Rukh Khan preferred Rani Mukherjee to Aishwarya for his 2003 home production Chalte Chalte. Abhisheh Bachchan has become the first Chelsea fan to own the club’s latest jersey. Abhishek was presented the latest jersey of Chelsea football club by the club CEO Peter Kenyon when the Bollywood star was at Stamford Bridge to attend the club’s second leg Champions league semi final match against Barcelona which the Blues lost after conceding a late goal. Despite the result, Abhishek Bachchan was happy to have attended the match.

You might have already heard about the upcoming world tour of Bachchans. The Unforgettable concerts now seem to be full of Bollywood mega stars. Besides Bachchan trio: Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwary Rai Bachchan, the stars like Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit will be seen performing in various venues of concerts.

Says a source close to the Bachchans, “Saif and Shahid showed absolutely no hesitation in joining the Bachchans on their tour. The price being offered was fine and the dates for the venues where they’ll perform were worked out to their convenience.
As for Madhuri it’d be the easiest thing in the world for her to join the Bachchans for the concerts in the US since that’s where she lives.”

There are many other stars who are going to join these mega stars on the tour to US and Europe. Though the Bachchans are going to remain in the center of all attention, it is not yet confirmed if Jaya Bachchan would join her family members on the tour. Having seen the bunch of stars to be participating on the concerts, it is almost certain that the Unforgettable concerts are going to be unforgettable forever.

Since the much-awaited marriage between Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan last year, the media has been abuzz with Aishwarya Ria Bachchan’s speculated pregnancy news. However, proving all these rumors false, the actress has recently declared that she is going to star world tour along with her Kajra Re team and her family members including husband Abhishek Bachchan and father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan. Mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan could also be with them on the tour.

Kajra Re is a popular music score from 2005 movie Bunty Aur Babli. Aishwarya, Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan all performed together in that music score. Aishwarya’s dancing was critically acclaimed in the song. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan later on performed with this song on the stage. However, Aishwarya is going to perform on the stage once again with this song on her world tour, but this is going to be the first time after her marriage.

Bachchan family is not going to celebrate the upcoming Holi festival because of the death of Teji Bachchan, the mother of Amitabh Bachchan. A few days ago, Amitabh’s wife Jaya Bachchan cleared that there would not be any Holi celebration this year because of the death of her mother-in-law a few months back. Both Amitabh and Jaya was attended a book-launching ceremony held in the capital of the country. The book “Icons: Men & Women Who Shaped Today’s India” by Anil Dharkar was unveiled on the ceremony. Among the 20 iconic figures featured in the book includes Amitabh Bachchan. However, to Jaya Bachchan, her grandson is her icon. Jaya Bachchan did not forget to give the credit to all the member of Bachchan family when asked if she would give the credits to her husband for all of her happiness.

When asked about her icon, Jaya said, “My grandson is my icon”.

Asked if she would give credit to her husband for her happiness, Jaya said, “Of course. In fact I will give credit to my entire family – my kids, my son-in-law (Nikhil Nanda), daughter-in-law and my grandchildren (Agastya and Navya Naveli) for my happiness.”

She added that real happiness comes from “positive thinking and one should be always positive in life”.

The Big B features as one of the 20 icons in Dharker’s book, and when the journalists asked her about her husband’s iconic status, Jaya smiled and said: “Ghar ki murgi daal barabar (familiarity breeds contempt).”

Actually, this is going to be the first Holi for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as a member of Bachchan family. The actress got married with star actor Abhishek Bachchan last year in a lavish wedding ceremony. Jaya Bachchan’s upcoming movie “Love Songs – Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow” is going to hit the screens very soon.
