March 16, 2008 By: admin Category: Akshay Kumar, Bollywood, John Abraham, Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor, Salman Khan

Katrina Kaif has already set herself one of the popular actresses of Bollywood. In her earlier days, she had problems with speaking Hindi fluently that she has got over already. The year 2007 was a breakthrough year for Katrina Kaif as she present with three hit movies in the industry. Namastey London, Partner and Welcome all were in the list of hit movies of last year. However, all of her hit movies were opposite Akshay Kumar. Katrina now seems to come out of this as the actress is going to star opposite different actors. Katrina will be seen pairing with Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham and Ranbir Kapoor.

Fresh News reported:

She is okay with the idea of working with other actors. She wants to make new pairs too. She is open to new things and wants to keep reinventing. Adi’s films are different; they have a Yashraj sensibility to them.

Katrina is reported involved with Salman Khan for the last few years. However, it has been reported a few months back that their relationship has been going though rough patch in late following the rumor out that Salman Khan has slapped Katrina in a Coffee shop lately.

However, it seems that Katrina Kaif is much more focused on her filmy career, rather than her personal life and Salman Khan. Now, let us see if Katrina Kaif continues her impressive success this year as well. Katrina’s next film Race is all set to hit the screens on 21 March.

John Abraham does not Want to Marry Bipasha Basu

January 26, 2007 By: admin Category: John Abraham

Bipasha Basu may be the dream girl of millions of Bollywood fans but she is surely not attractive enough to her boy friend John Abraham- at least not attractive enough that John Abraham will become crazy to marry her before someone else does.

The Hindu wrote:

Bollywood hunk John Abraham has no plans yet to marry longtime girlfriend, sex-symbol Bipasha Basu, the actor said.

While Bollywood golden couple Aishwarya Rai and Abishek Bachchan announced their engagement this week, the industry’s other hottest couple have no plans to tie the knot, Abraham told the Times of India in an interview published Thursday.

“Marriage is not on the cards for me,” said the model-turned actor. “I am going to be the last guy standing,” he said.

Abraham, 33, has been dating Basu, 27, an actress and former supermodel, for several years.

Poor Bipasa! Well, if she wants to remain as the unmarried mistress of John Abraham then there is no problem. It is upto her. I must say that Aishwarya is much smarter and luckier than Bipasa.

Salman Khan vs John Abraham+ Bipasha Basu

January 10, 2007 By: admin Category: John Abraham, Katrina Kaif, Salman Khan

Salman Khan does not have good relationship with John Abraham these days and this ill feeling in Salman Khan has now extended to Bibasa Basu, girl friend of John Abraham. It has been reported that Salman is not acting good with Bipasa Basu these days.

Mumbai Mirror wrote:

“Bipasha and Salman came face-to-face at the GIFA (Global Indian Film Awards) event and the Salaam-E-Ishq fashion night. Both times, Bipasha went up to greet Salman and say hello, but Salman snubbed her,” says a close friend of Bipasha. “He actually looked away. Bipasha is irritated at this childish attitude and has decided not to give a damn either.”

Incidentally, Bipasha and Salman have a history of friction, without John being in the picture too. A few years ago, when Sallu and Bipasha had gone on a world concert tour along with several other stars, there had been some problems. Apparently while other actresses had toed Salman’s line, Bipasha had not and had stood up to him. Sallu, in his inimitable style, had tried to cow her down, but not succeeded, what with Bips being really spirited and all. Naturally, this show of spirit hadn’t gone down well with Sallu.

This is what happens when you earn a lot of money and have no mission in life. Salman Khan earns a huge amount of money from his movies and the same goes for John Abraham and Bipasa Basu too. They have luxurious and fairy tale life styles in one of the poorest countries in the world. So, they sometimes get bored and engage into meaningless fighting. I wonder what Salman’s GF Katrina Kaif is going. Will she come in support of Salman Khan and make a balance?

Yes, Arjun Rampal was discovered by famous Indian designer Rohit Bal in a discotheque. As a model he was very successful and became very popular among girls. His debut movie Moksha was released in 2001. That same year, he did Pyar Ishq Aur Mohabbat but this movie came out before Moksha. In Deewaanapan, his performance established him as an actor. He is known as “Bollywood’s Bad Boy.” Salman Khan is a figure who loved by lots of people and equally hated by lot. Several times he made it to the headlines of newspapers for getting into trouble. Still, he is one of the most good looking and talented actors of Bollywood. It is he who started the trend of fitness among actors. Born to Salim Khan, a famous screen writer, Salman got his first movie in 1988 Biwi Ho To Aisi. In that movie, he played a supporting role. His big break came in 1989. Maine Pyar Kiya, produced by Rajshri Productions was one of the highest grossing Hindi films. It was Salman’s first movie as a lead character. For his performance in Maine Pyar Kiya, he received Film Fare Best Debut Award. In 1994, again he did Hum Apke Hai Kaun with Rajshri Productions and this movie was a block buster. Hum Apke Hai Kaun is one of the all time highest grossing films in Bollywood. Some of his major hit films are: Saajan, Sanam Bewafa, Karan Arjun, Pyar Kiya To Darna Kiya, and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

Since they share the same fate, Salman and Sanjay are very good friends. Son of legendary film actor Sunil Dutt and Nargis, Sanjay Dutt had it all but misfortune always hunted him down. If Salman is the “Bad Boy of Bollywood” Sanjay Dutt is the “Original Bad Boy of Bollywood.” However, for some unknown reason, he always got great love and support from people. Sanjay Dutt started his film career in 1981. His debut film Rocky was a hit but it did not help him that much. Later, movies like Vidhaata, Naam, Kabzaa, Hathyar, Sadak and Saajan established Sanjay as a star. However, his most successful movie is Khalnayak by Subhash Ghai.

Emraan Hashmi

People call him Emraan KissMe!! Or Serial Kisser!!! How people change his name it does not matter, Emraan has already proved himself as an able actor. His debut film Footpath was released in 2003. The movie did not do well in box office. After Footpath, he did Murder in 2004. In this movie, he appeared in many kissing scene with his costar, Mallika Sherawat. The movie was successful and turned Hashmi and Mallika into Bollywood stars. Although Hashmi did lots of kissing but that does not mean that he lacked acting skills. In movies like: Dil Diya Hai, The Killer, Gangster, Aksar, Jawani Diwani: A Youthful Joyride, Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets, Kalyug, Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Zeher, Tumsa Nahin Dekha, Murder Emraan proved his acting talent.

Challenge Comes for the Khans in Bollywood from Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek and John Abraham

December 17, 2006 By: admin Category: John Abraham, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan

It seems that Bollywood is going to be out of the Khans’ ear as many other rising stars are coming with their talent and skill of acting. If we look back to this current year then it will be very clear that some energetic and potential actors are gradually taking the place 3 Khans were hold for last one and half decades. Though it is true that Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan are still doing their job in bollywood and some of their movies were also praiseworthy in 2006. However, to realize the gradual decline of their dominance in bollywood, you do not need to be Einstein.

Among the rising stars, Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham are very promising. Hrithik Roshan has been the part of two blogbasters- ‘Krrish’ and ‘Dhoom-2’ These two movies have proven that as a actor Hrithik is now very matured and now he has a distinct position in blooywood. On the other hand, Abhishek Bachchan has also seen some amazing success in this year through the Dhoom-2 and Umrao Jaan where he showed some of his master works. John Abraham, another incoming star of bollywood is now in his best time of his career as his two different movies are praiseworthy in different point of views. His movie Kabul Express’, a movie based on a story related to Afghanistan, and Baabul, a different taste movie, are considered a turning point for this actor’s career.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Kavi Al Bida Na Kehna and Don have also been successful in term of business and Aamir’s Rang De Basanti and Salman’s Jaan-e-mann have got average hit. But it is true that the year 2006 is not for the Khans’ rather the year is a year for the new stars.
