Bengali beauty Rani Mukherjee has been romantically linked with director, producer Aditya Chopra for a long time now. There are many who also blame Rani’s involvement with Aditya for her losing reign as Bollywood queen. Well, it is true that Rani Mukherjee is not the number 1 actress at this moment in terms of the performance of her recent movies. However, there is also no doubt about the fact that Rani Mukherjee has been doing her part brilliantly in all the movies starting from Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, Saawariya to Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic.

Rumors have it that Rani Mukherjee is planning to marry soon. During the recently held Durga Puja festival, the biggest religious festival of Bengali Hindus, Rani was seen performing some rituals that are only performed by the would-be-married-soon girls. Two big banner movies: Dil Bole Hadippa and Wanted- are going to hit the Bollywood screens coming Friday. A number of B-grade movies were released over the last one month. Naturally, Bollywood fans are desperately waiting for star-studded big banners films like Dil Bole Hadippa and Wanted. Distributed by Yash Raj Films and produced by Aditya Chopra, Dil Bole Hadippa stars Shahid Kapoor and Rani Mukherji in the lead roles. The movie is directed by Anurag Singh. The biggest advantage of the movie is that it is based on the theme of cricket, the most popular sports of the country.

Wanted also has an advantage and that is the new look of Salman Khan. The actor plays a action-based role in the movie and it is pretty much certain that the actor’s action image would attract his fans who are going to see the first movie starring their favorite Salman Khan in 2009. Directed by Tamil star Prabhu Deva, Wanted is a remake of Telegu hit Pokiri, which I also directed by Prabhu Deva.

It is expected that both the movies will do well in the box office as there will be a number of holidays coming up next week. In Uttar Pradesh, there will Agrasen Jayanti, while  Indian Muslims will celebrate Eid festival. In West Bengal, people will also celebrate their most sacred religion festival, Durga Puja. So, it seems that both the movies will have some advantage in the box office, but one thing is for sure that the two movies could affect each other when it comes to revenue.

Famous film director, Aziz Mirza last directed Shah Rukh Khan starrer Chalte Chalte in 2003. Now, after five years, he is back once again and this time, he is working with his son, Haroon Mirza, in Shahid Kapoor starrer Kismat Konnection. Kismat Konnection will arrive on Tips Banner in July.

Haroon Mirza started working with his father behind the camera. He assisted him in Yes Boss and Chalte Chalte. Haroon Mirza also wrote a script thinking about Shah Rukh Khan as the protagonist. Unfortunately, the movie did not see any light but Haroon Mirza got the opportunity to direct Shah Rukh Khan in Airtel and Hyundai Accent advertisement.

In Kismat Konnection Haroon Mirza is a co-director. This is a rare instance for any first time director has worked as a co-director along with established film maker.

Kismat Konnection is an NRI love story. Raj Malhotra is a top architecture student. In his college, he won the best student awards at a row for four years. After that things turn bad for him. He finds himself struggling in Canada. Finally, he finds his lucky charm Priya, a tough talking girl with a heart of gold.

After few months, Neeraj Pathak, script writer of APNE will direct his first movie with Sunny Deol. Pathak will work as a co-director with Sunny Deol who already directed a movie Dillagi.

Rani Mukherjee, one of the popular Bollywood actresses at present, has recently said that she has no problem with Aishwarya Rai. However, there was speculation in the media that Rani was not invited in the marriage ceremony of Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan due to the reluctance of Aishwarya Rai. Moreover, Rani has indicated her on screen popularity with Abhishek Bachchan. Apunkachoice reported:

Talking to a news agency, Rani said she did not want to discuss why she was not invited to the wedding. “I’d rather not go in there,” she said reluctantly.

On Abhishek, Rani said, “I’ve always believed Abhishek and I make a good pair onscreen. Our first film together, Bas Itna Sa Khwab Hai , didn’t work well, so people assumed we wouldn’t click together.

Rani thinks that Preity and she have always had a good working relationship. “Off-screen, we were never friends. As co-actors we vibed well and it showed in our films together, hence the media assumed we were thick pals. I think ‘friend’ is a very important word in one’s life and it has a very strong meaning. We should understand that. But the only common thing between Preity and me are our movies,” she explained.

And as for Ash, “There was never really a problem between her Ash and me,” said Rani. “I would say when two people get busy with their work and lives, things change and they drift apart. It doesn’t mean that there is a problem. It’s just that everyone has moved on in life, that’s the thing that has changed between Ash and me.”

Rani Mukherjee is now reportedly dating with famous producer Aditya Chopra. However, Rani thinks that she has not met Mr. Right. Film stars hardly admit their relationship to media but after some days they admit it. Now, it is yet to see what happen to talented actress Rani Mukherjee.

Rani Mukherjee is a family girl. She has very close relationship with her family and that is perhaps why Rani has enjoyed doing the film ‘Tara Rum Pum’ a lot. In this movie, she acts as a loving wife and the mother of two children.

In Bollywood movies, the beautiful actresses like Aishwarya Rai act to glorify the greatness of womanhood. The heroines of Bollywood movies are always good and similar to Goddess- at least in the movie. So, most fans cannot imagine that they may have petty jealousy. It seems that Aishwarya Rai is a bit jealous of Rani Mukherjee and she did not want that Rani Mukherjee be invited to wedding ceremony of Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan.

For the Mumbai bred girl with a family that has braced the highs and lows of the Hindi film industry by sticking together, staying close matters a lot. The ’staying together through adversities’ theme seems to be the key one in the up coming Tara Rum Pum, too.

This is a nice movie for Rani Mukherjee. I am sure that she would not disappoint her fans in ‘Tara Rum Pum’. She is beautiful and a very skilled actress.

Bollywood is suffering a severe crisis in 2007. 2006 was a record breaking year for Bollywood’s box office. In 2007, nothing is clicking for Bollywood. I think only Guru had some decent success. Except Guru, Bollywood just witnessed flop after flop movies.

Nothing is clicking the box office of Bollywood in 2007. Now, Bollywood merchants are hopeful that there will be a turn around in their fortune and the turn around may just be led by Ta Ra Rum Pum. Ta Ra Rum Pum has Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji both of which have the record to shine in the box office. On the other hand, Siddharth Anand has history of making a big hit movie Salaam Namaste. So, we will have to wait just a few days to see if Ta Ra Rum Pum can ignite the passion of Indian audience.
