Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan, his wife actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and his mother former actress Jaya Bachchan have recently spent an hour at a temple in Khar in the city of Mumbai on Saturday in order to celebrate Durga Puja festival. They also prayed to goddess Durga during their stay. It was the Maha-ashtami of the nine-day festival. Amitabh Bachchan was also seen during the visit the temple.

Durga Puja is the biggest festival for the Hindu Bengalis and it is celebrated with great sanctity among the Bengali people. Here it is noteworthy that yesteryear Bollywood legend Jaya Bachchan is a Bengali.

Karan Johar’s recent birthday party seems to have been a platform of reuniting Bollywood foes. First, there was report that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor danced together at the birthday party of director-producer Karan Johar, forgetting their long-standing enmity and two Bollywood divas have now become friends!

Well, the latest reunion is between Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The two presented Bollywood fans with 2002 mega hit Devdas together, but turned into foes when Shah Rukh Khan preferred Rani Mukherjee to Aishwarya for his 2003 home production Chalte Chalte. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan was also involved in a cold war with Aishwarya’s father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan and ultimately was not invited to the marriage ceremony of Aishwarya and Abhishek.

Now, it has been reported that Shah Rukh Khan apologized to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan during Karan Johar’s birthday party. Abhishek Bachchan and Shah Rukh’s wife Gauri Khan were also present there. That is all now seems to have brought the two mega stars of Bollywood together once again. Sources also reported that the two couples also danced together later in the party.

Abhisheh Bachchan has become the first Chelsea fan to own the club’s latest jersey. Abhishek was presented the latest jersey of Chelsea football club by the club CEO Peter Kenyon when the Bollywood star was at Stamford Bridge to attend the club’s second leg Champions league semi final match against Barcelona which the Blues lost after conceding a late goal. Despite the result, Abhishek Bachchan was happy to have attended the match.

Abhishek Bachchan’s father Amitabh Bachchan, legendary actor of Bollywood, is also known as a big fan of football and Big B even mentioned about the match in his blog. Abhishek Bachchan was seen as a Chelsea football fan in his movie Jhoom Barabar Jhoom. Guru fame Abhishek Bachchan also said that he was keen to bring the world of Chelsea to India. So, it seems that Chelsea is also planning to increase their fan base in India which has been a growing market of English premier league football.

The title might lead you to think Bollywood’s famous father and son are not in good terms at this moment. In fact, Big B has recently asked director Sujoy Ghosh to replace his son Abhishek Bachchan with Riteish Deshmukh for the film titled Aladin, which is based on the Arabian story of Aladin and Genie. Sujoy approached Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan together for the movie, but Big B does not want to work with his son together in the film and advised Sujoy to cast Riteish in place of Abhishek. Why?

Well, there is nothing negative and you should not go to find anything controversial. In fact, the father and son are in good relationship. The reason not to work alongside Abhishek in Aladin is that the two are already working for the film Pa where the real life father and son will be seen in the same roles and that is why, Amitabh Bachchan does not want to work with his son once again. Rather, he wants to work with someone new. Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan together churned out successful movies like Sarkar, Sarkar Raj and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna in the past. Now, let us see if Sujoy Ghosh signs Riteish Deshmukh in place of Abhishek as per the advice of Amitabh Bachchan.
