Best actor Amitabh Bachchan may not accept Filmfare awards this year

A cold war is going on between Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan and tabloid newspaper. Because of this fact, Amitabh Bachchan has boycotted the most prestigious ceremony Filmfare awards, which was organizing its 55th ceremony this year. The 66-year-old actor was nominated as the best male actor for his movie “Paa” where he acted along with his son Abhishek Bachchan. It is thought that Amitabh Bachchan may not accept this award. Both Bachchans stayed out from this function. I think you already know that why they boycotted the award ceremony after Mumbai Mirror published news related about Bachchans. They wrote that Abhishek’s wife, former Miss World Aishwarya Rai could not give birth to baby. This year “Paa” won two awards. Its actress Vidya Balan won nominated as the best actress.

Kaminey and Love Aaj Kal will fight for the best film in Filmfare awards

Filmfare is one of the most prestigious awards in India. It is also known as Oscar award in India. So, there is no doubt that each of the stars in Hindi film industry expects to get this award as prove of success in their film career. You may know that it is the longest running film award. It will celebrate its 55 years on 27th February this year. This year we can see a close contest between two Bollywood films Kaminey and Love Aaj Kal. There should be stiff competition between these two films ahead of the Filmfare award because both movies have been nominated in eight categories including best film. “3 Idiots” has become the biggest surprise after including for six awards.

We can see a hard competition between Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan for the best male award.

Vidya Balan is the probable actress to get the best female award. However, she will face a tough challenge by Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.
