Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan is going to organize a TV reality dance competition titled Knights and Angels in search of six girls who will be the cheerleaders of his IPL franchise, Kolkata Knight Riders and the cheerleader group will be seen performing during IPL matches involving Kolkata Knight Riders in the upcoming IPL 2009 Twenty20 tournament. Anushka Sharma, the lead actress of Shah Rukh starrer Rab Ne Bana De Jodi, will be seen as one of the judges in the dance competition which will feature 24 girls competing for the final 6 spots. In fact, Anushka will be seen judging the first episode of Knights and Angels.

There will be six episodes in the show. Prominent choreographer Shiamak Davar will also be seen in the reality dance show. Hosted by VJ Purab Kohli, the show will also feature Kolkata Knight Riders captain Sourav Ganguly as a judge. I guess, India’s most successful cricket captain must have learnt a thing or two about dance from his wife, Dona Ganguly, a prominent classical dancer based in Kolkata.

You can see Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan together in the next ventures of Shah Rukh Khan’s production where, once again, Farah Khan will be the director. The movie named Happy New Year is believed to have thought to be filming even before the 2007 blockbuster Om Shanti Om. However, that time, SRK was not happy with the storyline of the movie and turned to filming Om Shanti Om. Farah Khan worked with the script in between and now Shah Rukh Khan is happy with the way the storyline is told in the script. Big B known Amitabh Bachchan has also reportedly accepted the offer and is happy with the story. The shooting for the movie will kick off after Shah Rukh Khan completes shooting for My Name is Khan of Karan Johar.
